Welcome to Taylor Elementary

Home of the Taylor Tigers

Taylor Elementary is a kindergarten through fifth grade campus.  Our staff  members truly care about each and every student and are committed to student success. Common Core State Standards are taught in every classroom.  These standards prepare students for a demanding curriculum as they progress throughout their academic career.

Happy Fall Y'all!!
  • Remember to be reading books. Myon.com, books from your house, AR books from the Taylor library, and books from the Hobbs Public Library are all great resources!
  • Parent please make sure to check your child's grades on Skyward and ensure permission forms are completed. If you have any questions please contact your child's teacher or the office.

A few friendly reminders for the school year:

  • Student attendance and promptness are very important to your child's educational success!  Please have your child to school by 7:45 (earlier if they will be eating breakfast). After the tardy bell at 7:50, they will be counted late for the day.
  • School ends everyday at 2:40, except every Wednesday students are released at 1:40.
  • To reduce traffic congestion in the front of the school, please follow all directions of school staff in the parking lot.
