⭐️The Hobbs Municipal Schools HHS Art Show 2026!🖼️ We are very thankful to John and Kelley McMillan and their students for displaying their creative minds through art! The opening reception was on Friday, but after that, all are invited to come out and view the amazing works and talent in our schools throughout the month of April at the Lea County Center for the Arts @ 122 W. Broadway.🎨🖼️

As we wrap up NMASSA testing this week, we want to celebrate our amazing students and show them how proud we are with a fun family event! 🎉 Join us for our Bubble, Kite, and Chalk Day on: Monday, April 13th • PreK–2nd grade: Bring bubbles and chalk • 3rd–5th grade: Bring bubbles and a kite We will also be celebrating Jump Rope for Heart with Coach ❤️ There will be student snack sales, and we’ll be spending time outside enjoying the beautiful weather together! This is a great way to relax and have fun before we jump back into 5th grade Science testing and K–5 Amira Reading testing the following day. Parents: Please remember to sign in at the office upon arrival. You will then be directed outside to your child’s class. We hope to see you there! 😊

Throughout the month of March, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been battling it out in Multiplication Madness! 🧮✨ Each class crowned a champion, and those winners advanced to compete for the top spot in their grade level. Today, our three grade-level champions faced off for the ultimate title! 🎉 Congratulations to our Multiplication Madness Champion, 3rd grader Arya Tabarez! 🎉 A big round of applause as well for our amazing finalists: ⭐ 4th grader Mia Corral ⭐ 5th grader Chloe Barrientos We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work, determination, and math skills! 💚🐯

A BIG congratulations to the HHS Science Olympiad team who took first place in the SE Regional Science Olympiad competition recently in Lovington at the 6th Grade Academy. Also a BIG thank you to Mr. Epperson, the HHS Science Olympiad Coach who invested in these students to get them ready to shine at competition.

⭐️Last week, our students across the district brought canned goods to their respective schools as part of the Slam Dunk for Charity competition. This initiative is part of the Slam Dunk /March Madness on Attendance Contest and all goods will be donated to Salvation Army, Isaiah’s Kitchen, and Cissy’s Ministry. We are SO proud of our students and the way they show their hearts to our community! ❤️ ⭐️A huge congratulation to the following campuses for exceeding 250 cans collected and donated, Broadmoor, Booker T. Congratulations are in order! Our boys' swim and dive team secured first place at the 3-4 District NMAA championship held in Artesia today. We surpassed the powerful Artesia Bulldogs by 12 points. Clovis Wildcats took third place with 82 points. Our girls' team delivered another impressive performance, securing third place, narrowly edged out by Clovis and Artesia. All of our kids had some incredible swims today and had personal best times. Well done Eagles!
